San Antonio Church of Christ 

OUR HISTORY

 

The San Antonio Church of Christ began on May 12th, 2019 in the Curry's home in San Antonio, TX. We are a non-denominational congregation named by it’s location in keeping with the biblical example of the congregations named in the New Testament.

  

OUR MISSION

To present the "Good News" of YAHWEH (Hebrew)/God(English), YAHSHUA the Messiah(Hebrew)/Jesus the Christ (English)

ELOHIM (Hebrew)/Holy Spirit(English) to our community, San Antonio, TX and throughout the world according to

 Mark 16:15 KJV and John 17:3 KJV. 

 

To bring glory and honor to his church (Romans16:16 KJV), which is His body (Colossians 1:18 KJV), his bride (Revelation 21:9 KJV and 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 KJV).  By exposing men's lies/traditions (Colossians 2:8 KJV, Mark 7:7-8 KJV and speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 KJV) with proven sound doctrine (1 Thessalonians 5:21 KJV), to represent his love toward all mankind no matter what sin has/is represented (Romans 3:23 KJV, 1 John 4:20 KJV), and we believe and participate in doing good works toward all men especially those of the household of faith (Galatians 6:10 KJV).

 

 

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe there is one God (Yahweh) according to Ephesians 4:6 KJV  and 1 John 5:7 KJV.

We believe there is one Lord, one faith, and one Baptism (Ephesians 4:5 KJV).  We believe God has only one true original name, yet many titles (Zechariah 14:9 KJV, Malachi 2:1-2 KJV, John 17:6 KJV, John 17:12 KJV, John 5:43 KJV and Acts 4:12 KJV to share a few). One church (Matthew 16:18 KJV) and in order to be saved one must obey the gospel and be added to the church (Mark 16:15-16 KJV, Acts 2:47 KJV) according to the plan of salvation outlined in the following verses:
